For a brake booster upgrade, an AE71 booster bolts straight into a KE30/35/55. It is bigger than the standard KE30 booster and has the same master cylinder mounting bolt pattern.

Thought i'd put up some more info for those people who don't want to search.(if anything is wrong with the information, my apologies, as this is just my knowledge.

So the main difference is noticeable really only on the outside. As the inside didn't really change, the Ke25 SL had the delux interior and the extra features(radio, cigarette lighter etc) and the ke20 and ke26 mainly had the same interior as far as i know.

In Australia the Ke20, ke25 and ke26 had 2 versions.

The early version when they first were produced, (ie 1970-1972) had a flat metal grille, side indicators in the front plastic trims, straight edge bonnet, polished metal trims around the headlights and the rear had smaller lights (ke20 only)with reverse lights below brake lights.

    Early Ke26

Early Ke25(LHD i know but you get the idea)

    Early Ke20

Then was there a later version (ie 1973-1974) which came with plastic grille, side indicators in front quarter panels, no trims around headlights, full plastic front trims, pointy bonnet and rear lights were wider(ke20 only) with reverse lights beside brake lights.

    Late Ke26

    Late Ke25

    Late Ke20

nb - As some of these pics are from Japan/USA, fendor mirrors never came out on Aust delivered Ke2X's.

If you want any more info, check the links on the page before as there is a heap of good stuff on the net put up by dedicated Ke2X fans!

Also forgot to mention, as we have only the K series, America and Japan had the T series. So their range was Te21(Sedan), Te27(Coupe) and Te28(Wagon) and came with either the 2t-c motor or the Te27 came with the 2t-g version.

Japan also had both a Trueno and Levin Version of the Te27. Main difference was the lights, surrounds, grilles and bonnets.

i haven't heard of longer wishbones, but i have heard of welding up and redrilling the bolt holes further out.... as well as shimming to change camber...

afaik, the 3bolt strot is a toyota orphan... the ball joints are different taper/thread size to KE20, but KE20 balljoints fit in the wishbones..
