hey fellas

ive come upon the need to fix my speedo that hasnt been working since i did a conversion (im used to it now, doesnt bother me).

i'm hitting heathcote for a 1/4 mile this weekend and am trying to install a speed cut defender, which i'm quite sure isnt working because my speedo isnt working. i cant get my head around it, as the diagrams i have arent answering any questions

it's an MX83 with a Z30 1J innit, and it runs and drives fine. all speedo inputs seem to be all good, ECM's happy (as far as engine goes) and transmissions happy (shifts fine, PWR and overdrive work nicely). i'm getting an error code telling me the speedo isnt receiving speed input (which i kinda noticed)

from what i can gather the speedo works on a bit of a tricky circuit, it needs an input to the cluster, then from the cluster it needs to go back to the ECM (ie its not just as simple as a single wire feeding it) i dunno which input needs to go into the cluster, and which needs to come out of it - hoping someone here will know and be prepared to give me an answer
