just trying to work out if i have a problem with my knock sensor or my wiring.. after putting the engine back in my gt4 i unfortunately destroyed the knock sensor plug so i just got a female connector and plugged it in, my mate also took off the shielding around the wire .. the computer is now spitting out code 52 which is knock sensor.. i checked if there is resistance from the knock sensor wire and there was .. is this right?? should it be an complete circuit and also what purpose does the shielding have??
