Hm, i always thought US tail lights were different.

Anyway, according to the Starion brake upgrade on AuStarion the Nissan Patrol 17/16" master should also fit the AE86, or for that matter any 2bolt 80mm spacing booster. The following quote from the AuStarion brake upgrade PDF gives more details:
The master cylinder chosen is a 17/16 inch bore unit specified on some Nissan Patrol’s. The unit itself is an aftermarket type, PBR part number J1715, which comes in a Lucas box, and contains a Tokico master cylinder! It has the same 80mm mounting centre holes as the Starion unit, and will bolt straight onto the Starion brake booster.he booster has a pushrod length adjustment,
Since the Starion one fits the AE86 i would think that the only issue might be strut tower clearance. Ill be giving it a go though, esp as Mitsu no longer make Starion bits.

Ah, because everywhere i have phoned up in the last week have given a big nay to them actually still being produced.

Anyway, this is a good option for those using R32 calipers which stock have a 17/16th master.

hmm i might have to look into that myself, cause im upgrading from hilux to S14 calipers, these may need a bigger m/c than 15/16th.

Ok, slight correction. Seems the AuStarion brake upgrade page was wrong. Its actually a JB1775 not a 1715. Be careful with that one, the 1715 is a 13/16th master.
The JB1715 looks like this though:

Also works on the 18R bosch alternators.great for getting rid of the external reg for a high output internal reg altenator.
Would probably work for most bosch alt's as well.

Yes, but you need to cut and shut the lower control arms. Same as the AE86 conversion.

Thats not for this thread, look up how the S13 conversion is done for the AE86 and copy. Or start a new thread for that specific conversion.

The rear plate on the block that holds the main seal on an 18R (just above the sump) is identical to that fitted to Isuzu G161/G180/G200 SOHC engines.

More AE86 Master Cylinder Swaps....I can confirm (as I have it installed currently) that a Nissan Navara (D22) Master is 2 bolt and is 15/16th PBR Part No. JB9735 or JB9736.

Here's A Pic of it on the AE86 Master before I did all the brake lines
