Talk to a tailshaft shop, they'll know exactly what you're talking about. I recently looked under a Prado 4WD and they have the setup you describe (3 prong transmission output) and what looked like a slip joint built into the centre bearing, so tailshaft shops would be dealing with this sort of thing all the time.Originally Posted by Mos
I have a similar dilemma with my forthcoming 6-speed conversion so I've already spoken to a shop (Driveline Services in Brisbane) and they tell me it will be a walk in the park, they'll just adapt something from a late-model 4WD.
