In the DBA catalog, what does it mean when it lists the Centre Hole Diameter as HUB or HUB TYPE?

Haha, great minds think alike! On that note. i have rotors and calipers here which i got with my ke25. The stud pattern is 4x110 they are also vent. The calipers are only a big single piston tho. I will take a pic and show you. If i remember correctly i don't think they fit on the 20/25 struts? Will take a pic.

Are you going to bolt the disc to the back of the hub as per Corolla OEM or are you going disc over hub?

Once you start looking at those tall hat heights youll very quickly start fouling on the strut and caliper mounting face.

Hub type means the disc and hub are all one casting (ridiculous I know). So to replace your discs on a first gen RX7 you need to replace the whole hub too.

Also note that the PCD on the rear of the hub to which the disc bolts on a KE20 (if that is how they are setup) is a different PCD to the wheel studs on the front. But in any case, redrilling a 4 stud disc to suit the 4 holes on the back of the hub is an easy task. The hat height is more important than the PCD.

I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.

With the RX-7 disc (59mm height) I'd most likely look at mounting it ove the hub, rather than on the back of the hub...

You're correct in the fact it would foul the strut...

That'll probably kill the idea of using the RX-7 disc then... I'll have to look into it some more...

My last brake setup on a KE25 strut fitted under a 13" wheel and that used ST162 Celica SX calipers, Peugeot 20mm thick vented discs turned down to 258mm diameter mounted to the back of the hub (the hub face barely protruded past the disc face). The only reason I wouldn't recommend this disc/hub combo is that it required a fairly hefty adaptor that would cost a pretty penny unless you know a fitter and turner well.

Can anybody tell me the height of an original KE20 hub?

The RX-7 disc, being one piece, may end up being useful in the end, but it'll depend on the height of the KE20 hub...

What Peugot was the disc off?
    It was from a 206:

    Peugeot 206
    vented Dia= 266 Ht=27.5 Th=20.5 Centre bore=66 stud hole=4

Can anybody tell me the height of an original KE20 hub?
I may have it written at home or may still have my old hubs which I can measure on the weekend - unless I threw them in the bin, pretty sure i didn't????

Cheers, will add to the first post...

Edit: now removed from first post as total height is smaller than KE20 disc...
