Arrow Where to go for Head Porting ?

Don't really want to send the work overseas, but the only place/person so far I trust doing it right is just too busy running his Reconditioning business.

To give you an idea of how he goes about, he requests a bad/junk same Head to cut of the Ports up for wall thickness measurements. And then on the other 3 ports, he'ld do the usual gains from experience, then try and push it further sometimes having to add material back if the numbers went backwards, all the time measuring Air velocity at various points.

Anyway, just wondering who else is out there apart from the Top-level guys (Tom Coad) who are booked out years in advance also.......

I've had Eddie Wood at the 'Head Stud' in Melbourne & Stone Brothers Racing recommended if anyone has any experience with their work ?

Thanks I've read that, but he doesn't state keeping Air Velocity same/higher or even cutting up junk Heads to get an idea on Wall thicknesses......

That would be Mark Banyard. He was fairly busy last time I spoke to him, but that was a month or so ago. PM me if you want his number.

But wouldn't you only do that if you have never worked on that particular head before? I'm thinking there might be places where they already have experience with your particular head so they don't have to reinvent the wheel.

Ah yes, Baynard. Really should update my phone book with his surname not "Mark the head porting guy"

Also Tony Knight is TK who jezza refers to above.
