Not sure if they are vvti or not, but have a look at either Adaptronics (made in Sydney, more features than you can poke a stick at, great quality, cheap price, awesome support), I believe they may also have vvti capability. Or maybe if your reasonably electronically minded, look at the MegaSquirt (dont need to be an engineer etc... just be able to learn, they will teach you everything you need to know), these can be re-programmed to suit vvti (if they dont already support it)... but that bit should be left for people who can program assembly (not terribly hard to learn if you have done programming before)
