What do you mean linden?
Bellhousing?
7mgte bellhousing will bolt from W5* pattern to a R154.

The question doesn't make sense, W5x and R154 are different types of transmission, what are you trying to adapt?![]()
Norbie!

the difference in length between the w5* and r154 input shaft to where the bellhousing bolts on is 32mm ie an 7m-r154 bell is 32mm longer than a 7m-w5* bellOriginally Posted by BlackSupra

Im keen to see what you come up with......... It mabe a future upgrade for me .
300+rwkw 4agte http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/for...wkw-4agte.html
same. subscribed
just checked the mark 4wd adapters page and couldnt find it.
if its to suit the R151 then they do have one but its only 15mm thick which is nowhere near enough.
i dont want to shorten the input shaft or anything just bolty bolty and away you go.
things to suss out
1 adapter
2 bearing carrier
3 if the nose that the carrier sits on will be the right length.

I know 16OTU (Ron) might be interested in what you come up with... He was asking about adapters to fit an R154 behind his 1G a while back.

Just found the link....
just spoke to the guys at marks 4wd adapters and they said they dont do them but if they had an order for 10 that they would consider it.
so if there are ppl wanting this conversion let me know and ill get it hapening asap.

the front bolt pattern on the R151 should be the same as the r154...only differecen afaik is the ratios of the box and the configuration of the drive system(4wd). All bearing kits for the r154's are listed as R151 kits
that and said input shaft length.
they only do 1 for a G52-r151 and it not as thick as what i need

hmmmm what about some sort of spacer ? behind the adaptor, or in front, ?
that wouldnt be to hard to get machined up !
$395 for there kit and then to make another adapter would just be asking for a raping.Originally Posted by byteme
too many bolts, dowels and plates would just turn into a nightmare.
easier to just get the right adapter made in the first place.
good idea but not the type of thing i want. the way i see it when murphy is involved the more bits there are = more parts to fail.
