    Question Fuel Lines Question

I'm about to start running my fuel system for my 2jz. I was wondering if the lines i bought are to big? My main concern if it will make my pumps work to hard.

    My setup is as follows:
    twin 044 pumps
-8 supply line to the pumps from tank
    -8 lines to a V to a single -8 line
Then another V block with twin - 6 lines to the rail
    >====0====<
    My injectors are 800cc
and i have the RJ SARD fuel reg with -6 fittings that came with it.
My return line is -8 so i have adapters for the reg.

I'm thinking there is too much happening in my lines in regards to size and flow issues.

the turbo i am using is a Garrett T04z and i have 100mm throttle body.

Good Question - There must be a table/formula somewhere for calculating this stuff(Fuel line size, max flow rates achievable) ...I have to do some research shortly to...
Assumption is the mother of all f**kups...

    -8 being 8/16 being 1/2" being 12.5mm right?

I would keep the lines coming out of the 2 pumps short and go straight to the single -8. That will be fine for your power levels.

I would think having larger fuel lines would effectively increase the flow capability as the FPR should still run the same amount of pressure. So assuming that the fuel pressure is pretty normal at 3bar at 0psi then I couldn't see an 044 being hassled by having to feed a -8 line.

I run a single 044 with 10mm line straight to fuel rail (teed off for nitrous) and has made 370rwhp. I would be thinking that yours should be fine.

There's no such thing as "too big" for fuel lines. What you have is overkill but it won't hurt anything.

Thanks everyone for the help, another problem soughted.
The running of the lines is no worries thanks to having a solid chassis to mount them to.
