    Default 7mgte rom tuning

I saw this on the intahwebz, thought some of you may be interested ! http://suprasonic.org/sonictech/techtom/

with the replacement of the rom board, on the 7mgte you could almost have something like the much sought after Mines 1jz ecu's

worth a look see even though it isnt that cheap

Someone asked if the ROM could be programmed, the answer was that it cant be. This isnt programming, this is replacing. for the cost you'd be better off with a proper programmable ECU

obviously a lot of work went into it, but it's a rather expensive solution compared to current ECU options.

The Yanks will snap it up, they're afraid of "standalones". Fortunately we have better options here.

my tuner Jeff from "The Speed Lab" is famous for his nissan remaps and I got him to search extensively for options for toyotas but the tectom boards are just too damn expensive...

The nissan ones are under a hundred...tectom stuff is around $800

    and not worth it
