I think for people to make a decision 4 or so months before the event is going to make it hard now... that extra month they added on for early birdes will kill some clubs I'm sure of it, shame really!

I agree.. you really have to have your car ready to go... there's no time for build ups now, or it just has to wait for next year.

Ross.. need entries in the next couple of weeks so I can send them off by end of September

MY ENTRY FORM IS IN!! Now just gotta wait to see if they give me the A-OK!!

For those people that are either are still deciding to go in, building there car or just havnt got the funds yet then atleast just get your form in so you get the cheap prices! If you use a credit card on the form they wont process and take the money till you have been accepted in December so thats something to think about!

Also if you car is not quite ready (AKA Matty) then you are allowed to send updated photos in closer to December as its not till December when they start chopping the entries right down!

The main thing is to get your form in or atleast some sort of form if you want to pull out later 2 months down the track then you can but if you put your form in later 1) you pay higher prices and 2) your form goes to the bottom of the pile and you fight aganist everyone else.

    DO IT!!!

thats cool gene.. I think there's a few that won't have their cars done in time.. and if I push it.. then people aren't gonna be happy entering their half done rides..

as time goes on, we seem to be loosing more interest and entrants.. maybe OST won't have a display in 2008?
I still haven't had a completed entry form from anyone..

and now the actual list shortens...

    Entrants:
    Wayno - 93 Celica - DONE
    Ross - 65 Crown
    Dave - RA28 Celica
    Matt - Datto 1600
    Danny - TA22 Celica
    Neil - 88 Cordia

    maybes:
    Adam - 1jz mz20 soarer

    out:
    Lauren - ra28 Celica

Maybe 2009 would be a better year to make a come back at Motorvation with everyones cars done instead of half done and rushed...??

The price hike doesn't help. But I'm just not organised for it at the moment, and keen to focus on finally trying to respray the SPIDA.

yeah.. like Gene said.. the price hike certainly doesn't help the cause..
but also having the entry deadline brought forward 4 months before the show means people have been caught a bit by suprise getting the cars ready in time.

I think we should have some pretty awesome cars and a bit more variety given another 12 months to work on them

I like Wayno's idea of having our own stage set up for a band and DJ's too! ..
but I think they are short on room as it is.
Maybe just a catwalk for our promo models...

nah, they just hell poor so they need all money up front to pay everyone/for everything.

motorvation = aussie/muscle cars, waste of time for the import crowd. my opinion of course.
