We Just got a 92 Paseo for my gf, but the problem is it's gutless!

So in order to give it abit more go I desided it needed some boost.

The engine in question is the 16V 1.5L 4cyl 5E-FE. I've scoured the paseo/tercel/starlet forums and found that building a 5E/4EFTE hybrid is a common upgrade. However I'd like to see if I can hang an SC12 off the side rather than a turbo. I'm not looking for massive power so I'm not interested in Turbo vs Supercharger discussion.

I've found that most guys are using 4EFTE Pistons on 5EFHE rods with a TRD copper head gasket to lower compression and running around 15PSI.

Someone in another forum posted this pic but didn't have any more details.

The SC12 is squeezed in tight. But I'm hoping that the 5E having a slightly taler block will allow for abit more room

The 5EFTE hybrid guys are running 4EFTE ECU's with greddy Emanage, will this work with supercharging too?

yeah a 4efte ECU with emanage should work well enough you will have to run the S/C constant though
