I prefer Sard injectors
Sard p/n 63563 would suit your application PERFECTLY:
- 660cc/min
- top feed
- twin spray pattern
- low impedance

Hey,
Ok the time has come to purchase some injectors.. Now what I am wanting to know is suggestions on what brand to get and where to buy them from?
The engine is a 7MGTE so the injectors need to be top feed, I am aimming for around the 350rwkws mark so the 660cc range is about what I need (working it out they should be running at almost 90% at that power with a idle fuel pressure of 40psi). Now the two main brands I have seen are bosch and siemens, I know that the bosch units are going to be decent but who has had anything to do with the slim looking simens injectors? and would these fit as they seem to be a bit cheaper than the bosch units (have seen them as cheap as $89 each)..
Anyway give me your thoughts and I will see what we come up with!
Thanks all,
Marc

...... butt scratcher?!
for toyotas with the injectors in the head a twin spray injector is better for emisions and light load stuff, economy will be better also.
so the witzl is on the money.
majority of aftermarket injectors have average spray patterns so spend the $$$ on quality ones.
most bosch inj are good but siemens can be average depending on model.
tested many different inj on test bench and pattern makes a big difference to tuning.

i use 850cc delphi ones on my big boost 1j bit overkill but they were only about $85 ea brand new and it idles and runs perfectly no problems at all
a fool remains undescovered untill he speaks!
turbo rotary 1s are pretty good, 12at 1s especially, think they are 750cc, but cant guarantee that, they are good for around 240rwkw in a 13bt, can get them pretty cheap too,

cheap but there spray pattern is up the shite and for the price of a newer and better injector why not spend the extra.Originally Posted by kremsra28

Yeh was suggested rotary injectors by a few mates but I know they are pretty ordanary and have never really seen a car run well with large ones installed..
And for the money that has gone into the engine I would be stupid not to spend a lil on injectors as it is a fairly crucial part..
The Sard ones sound like the go (they are made by denso arnt they?), just have to find somewhere that would be good to get them from..

So what would you recomend for a 160rwkw 2jzge ?Originally Posted by The Real Roadrunner
I havnt looked into spray paterns etc, it didnt even enter my mind that there would be different ones.
Perhaps injectors from a 2jzgte may be the go ?
Any recomended reading on the subject out there ??

I recently bought some 690cc/min injectors here that were sold to me as SARD but they're marked with a Denso part numbers.
They're these...
Something like these might be good for your application. The bit of extra flow will mean that you don't have to run as high a duty cycle for the power you want. 90% is getting a bit high. Most of the fuel injection "Gurus" I've spoke to say to aim for around 80%, with 85% as an absolute max.
Injectors Online is advertising them here...
http://www.injectorsonline.com/indivprod.php?c=4
for $160 +GST each.
I've never bought anything from them, so don't take that as a recommendation. I just came across them while browsing.
yeah i never really thought bout spray pattern either, thought they would all spray the same, but now its mentioned, i guess if the fuel is sprayed evenly into the cylinder it would ignite easier??? is that the way it works??

mo9re to the point, if the fuel is sprayed more "finely", you get a much better burn
yeah it makes sense, i spose its something that alot of ppl mwouldn think about, i would never have thought about it,
thanks for clearing it up, i have learned my new thing for the day!!
