The scale was tared with the jig and the two little chains, so you can consider that weight to be anything below the chains.

Because although it's the title of the thread nobody is interested in the weight of a 1G-FE. We're all here for the UZ loving. Now that getting that info can add more to the understanding of UZ info it's become interesting again

I think i'll take you up on that offer to weigh a mighty 18R-G.

Out of interest, what fluids were in the engine when you weighed it? Did you tip the engine up to remove all the coolant?
