Hmmm!
Seem to have fixed the problem by fixing something else!
Fitted at 1.5mm restrictor to the oil feed for the turbo, thus cutting the flow.
And the motor seem's to have stoped tapping at cold idle.
I think it may of been a problem of the turbo feed taking to much oil flow/volume out of the main gallery

a crackpot theory that came to me while on the crapper is that the GTE blocks might have a restrictor in the gallery for the feed inside the block, becuase there certainly isn't anything in the external factory feed pipe
