    Default 3RZ help

Hi my brother has a 99 hilux with a 3rz and he was looking for info on giving it a bit more power with either a turbo or supercharging but doesn't want to spend a lot of money so what would be the better option

    Cheers

    have a search?

we've got a fair few threads about them now.

at least 3 in member's rides

cheapest option would prob be a SC14 overdriven slightly to make about 3psi. anything higher and the injectors are out of their capacity
    hello

A blower is gunna be best, as far as budget goes, but its gunna show power wise too, depends what you want. have a look in the conversions section , theres a bit write up on blowers and tubros for the 3rz its called late model hilux turbo or someshit haha ill see if i can find it.

    Thank berad
But we ran into a problem today The car has been running a bit rough so we serviced it and could hear a little noise in the exhaust and it turns out that it has only 30psi comp in no1 piston
We put it down to a burnt valve
