Hey guys..
the word is slowly getting around, so thought i'd start an official thread for anyone interested.
Drift WA are organising a drift practise day for club members. Its not too often you'll get to slide in a safe environment and on a fun day instead of competition drifting at somewhere like Barbagallo...
Details are as follows:
Date: Sunday 1 July 2007
Time: scrutineering from 8am, on track by 10am.
finish is usually when everyones bored, never seen it run later then 3pm though, everyones usually out of tyres/fuel by then
Cost: $50 for club members, or $40 to join club on top if not a member. (so max cost is $90 for non members and membership lasts a year, so you'll only be up for $50 next time)
Need: Car (well der), spare tyres, long sleeve shirt and long pants, closed shoes, helmet, approved fire extinguiser with metal bracket
I'd suggest heading down Saturday at somestage, so you can be there nice and early on Sunday.
If there's a large interest, we can organise maybe to all meet up in Perth metro area, and all cruise down to Collie together.
let the discussions begin...![]()

i might be going with my mates 929, depends on money and if the poopra is up for an extended flogging. on the drift WA site they said they would run some sprints as well, so that would be fun to see how quickly i can get brake fade and just how bad 16 year old suspension is on a track
Yeah pissed off I won't make this one. I will be there watching though.
Collie is a fun track to drive at, fast S bend for the more advanced drivers and some nice slow corners and slow S bend for the beginners...
Coff, I know you will read this, I wanna see you link the big S bend this time. You've seen how its done now I wanna see you do it![]()
