Default Where do these three lines go?

Just about gathered all the parts for my conversion i just need to know where these three lines go

someone says two go to a boost controller
someone says i can block them off

    1. is on the turbo housing
    2. is in the middle of the wastegate
    3. is on the end of the wastegate

    where do that go? thanks

I know that 2 and 3 are the pressure ontop and below the wastegate. If you want it to open at its most MINIMAL setting, then use the top one, because it is pushing against the spring and helping it to open. If you want it to stay shut as much as possible, then use the one below.

On my Soarer, we have the top wastegate (#3) hooked upto the boost control solenoid, then the other side of the boost control solenoid to the inlet manifold, so it opens at its lowest setting and doesnt overboost.

Hope that helps, im sure someone else will be able to tell you exactly what to do.

#1 usually goes to an internal gate on a turbo to give it its turbo pressure which triggers the gate to open. In that regards i would think that you would put #1 to #2. I think #3 goes to plenum vacuum ie after throttle body.

mine has #1 and #2 teed up to run to the boost control solinoid, and #3 running to the soliod also but on its own, and the solinoid has a vac line running from the back of the plenum.

if any of that makes any sence

so can i just join 1 + 2 together without boost controller and 3 just put into the plenum? will that cause any problems?

Ahh, no (edit: at everyone except the Witzl)

Any pressure source goes to the bottom port on the gate. Pressure PUSHES the gate open, limiting boost.
