    Default RA40 Air Con

I know that a RA23/28/40 evaporater inside the car is the same between these models. What I need to know would a RA65 fit. I can get my hands on both RA23 and RA65, just thought that a RA65 might be in a little better condition.

hmm i might have to check on that. RA40 item fits RA23 you say?? well, I have an RA40 item i might just have to put in my RA23 then. Failing anything else, try and stick the bugger in if you can borrow the 65 item for a short period. I think i still have the box from the RT142 i stripped, might have to look at that too, should be the same as a 65.

doubt the interior unit from a '65 will fit - overall dash shape is very different

the RA40 unit is also a snug fit so any differences will be a show-stopper.

OK lads I stand corrected, RA23's, RA40's and RA65's all have different part numbers, but the drawings on the screen all look similar, might only be some minor model specific differences.
Just got lucky and looks like I can go and raid a series one RA40, with air con, and take all the bits I want.
