My 7M Cressida did slightly better than 10 a couple of times, but was generally 12-13 much of the time.

last tank on my 162 got me 650km's, but it should have been more. better than 12km/L is what I'll avg around town, highway will get over 13, but I didn't realise my treads were ~10Psi down on what they should have been. next tank should be better.

    7M -23L/100k's
    1J - 12.5L/100k's.
    2Y-C liteace 9L/100k's.

all driven with a hefty right foot about 1/4 of the time, the rest just runabout work, the tanks that ive caned it with have been a shitload worse, but these figures are a general all round guide, with a bit of heavy driving, and cruise thrown in.

interesting fact, the money i saved from the 1J conversion has already paid for the conversion itself. (1J was cheap, sold 7M for good price etc. etc.)

^^^ that's probably the best mileage I've heard of for a forced-induction car. is that regular driving or highway?

Well i haven't driven it regularly for a while, the last tanks lasted me about a couple months

Mostly city driving and a touch of highway with maybe 1 or 2 aggressive 'gotta have speed!' moments. If it was all highway, i would be expecting a high 9 or low 10 but havn't had the chance to do that. Last time i was on the highway my speedo cable broke

My old 6M running on 5M electrics used to give me 18l/100km's but i got that down to 12.5l/100km's by fiddling with the AFM.

mine was farked, mistreated, half the time i owned it, it sat on one engine mount, the other mount snapped, sump sitting on the crossmember.

    boost leaks etc.

my 1J is just running a factory tune, about 240rwhp.

as soon as my e-manage cable gets here, ill borrow a wideband and get it a little better.

    i is happy.

Lightly Tuned 3SGTE - urban driving (start stopping) + 19kms high way per trip to work returns me on a 45 L fill : 18L per 100kms. Max Kms per tank - 250kms

Being stuck 1 hour in traffic each way suxs for a 23km trip.

Highway Km's average speed of 110kms - I return close to 320kms (varying speeds from 70 to 110)

Umm, that's f'ing terrible dude. Go get the cruise maps sorted out. My car would see a similar style of driving by the sounds of it, and will cop shit at least one time during each drive, yet returns 9-10l/100km.

Yeah that is some horrible consumption for a tuned 3S.

On the way to Dubbo for the nationals mine averaged 7L/100km there and back. In town it gets up around 9-11L/100km.

Driving it really hard is hard to say, you really can't do it enough on the street to get an idea.

I also averaged 7.2l/100 from a gen3 3sgte in a camry on a trip to bathurst and back with a dead thermostat car sat on cold most the way there, i get around 12L/100 around town with a turbonetics t3/t4 on it.
Its slightly better than i got with the 3sfe and car is now about 100kgs heavier, I think most of it is better ignition timing and it stays in closed loop much longer 1/4 throttle now makes more power than the 3sfe ever made
