    I have 3" piping on my 1jz. Reason being that the old turbo I had was 3" outlet, cooler had 3" outlets and as said the TB is close enough to 3" so it made sense. I didn't have any tight bends and it fits pretty easily. Also, at the time you couldn't pick up cheap as chippies silicone reducers etc. from ebay.

    I have another cooler to go in at some stage and will probably go to 2.5" on the turbo side then but I am leaving the other side as it now has modded bits for BOV and nitrous which I don't want to do again.

    380kw at all four in an audi with 2" piping. i didnt believe it either but it has a graph to back it up and i was there on the day . graph wasnt fudged either
    3582r, HUGE cams and without the nos activated.
    1750kg soft launch so it didnt brake the box mid 11s @ 131mph you work it out.

    i never stated that there was no restriction in the piping but just stating it could be done,
    personaly i would have gone larger but have you seen the space under the bonnet (none at all)
