maybe the RB25 which was mentioned earlier are true in using stock injectors to produced that much of power as we might not know if it had any xtra sub-injectors inplant to it...

That is possible , but on tha standard six injectors physicly its not... Well i picked up my Sard FPR. Been reading and heard its better using a FPR then a RRFPR, next is a decent pump, and back on the dyno in fourth night or so....
Toyman those dumps look magnificant, so little space to do that, when do u plan to test them out on the dyno...

In this case Internet Bull makes you look retarded !

An RB25DET stock injector is only 370cc (Side Feed).

To make 500 FLYWHEEL HP rule of them suggests you need 525cc injectors (at 100% duty Cycle). To make your 370cc injectors flow enough they woudl need to run a BASE pressure of 88 PSI Let alone once you add boost.

Do yourself a favour and get equated with basic physics.

And for anyone looking to make some calculations and wnats a guide this page is pure Gold.

I don't understand at all how you're figuring out you need to run a rising rate fuel reg.
Stock one isn't, just put in a decent base pressure.
Also, stock injectors, on stock fuel rail pressure (At 38PSi runs out at 220RWKW)
So affectively, to make 370RWKW (which it did) you'd need to be running 63PSi if the injectors hit max DC.
So dial in 70PSi, and have just a touch of room to play for 500RWHP.
No need for anymore fuel rail pressure.
    For 440RWKW, need around 85PSi.
It is doable. Quite doable. You may not think so, but it is doable.

BTW, I'm not arguing from a website that does "Guides" I'm working from me owning an R33, and my mate being the one who was running his at 500RWHP, and then at 590RWHP on nitrous.

Kyosho, have you read the whole thread or just the last few posts? It has been discussed about using higher pressures than normal to get more flow from injectors. 85psi??

If your do your reasearch a bit better you will know why i am going for the FPR, and 85psi sounds waay to much, and it still won't give you enough for that power at the wheels. Do you know how much 440rwkw is in the REAL WORLD. Everyones got a mate who got a mate who runs 10's with a stock turbo and injectors..Shit i got no time for kiddies arguments.. Do you know what is needed for that power level....stock injectors yeah and maybe bump the boost on to 40psi on the stock turbos and noo worries brooo....
Do the math and learn a bit more about how an internal combustion engine works and come back with a more sensible argument... For me i am increasing pressure to max of 60psi to get around 370cc which should be plenty.....

Hey Pube didn't know you decided to put in the TD04b kit in. I have always been curious about that. Keep me posted please with the progress and results pls......

    Try being in the car.
yes I know whats needed, I'm not making bull shit up, I gave you the name of the workshop to ring, and question.
If you keep wanting to call BS, go sit in the corner then. Don't say I'm the one bullshitting, when I've tried to show you where you can get the info on which car was doing it.
Pubes: I've followed this thread from the beginning, if you read back through it, you'd see that I've posted earlier too.

I swapped some 1J HKS cams for the td04 kit. Hopefully be on the road real soon including a Water to air intercooler setup. Hoping for about 200rwks using factory ecu and injectors.

The term rising rate fuel pressure reg is applied to 2 different types of regs. Almost All forced induction vehicles have a Boost referenced fuel pressure reg. They have to. When you create boost it pressurises the intake manifold, this pressure is present at the base of the injectors so for them to maintain the stock base fuel pressure the fuel pressure has to rise equal with the increased pressure in the manifold.

The most commonly refered to rising rate reg is when the fuel pressure rises at a greater ratio than 1:1 YOU can get them at all different rates. These artifically increase the scope of your injector under boost without effecting fuel pressure at idle. They arean ugly way to overcome injectors that are 2 small for there application.

    Kyosho,

Go back to Primary school and come back when you have half a clue or actually want to learn. You clearly HAVE NO IDEA what you think your talking about and are a discrace to this thread. You clearly have no concept of viable opperational pressure for a fuel injector or what happens to fuel pressure under boost. 85 PSI base pressure, then add what 20 25 PSi boost ? That over 100PSI fuel pressure. Go put a stock RB25 side feed inan injector flow tester, crank the fuel pressure to 105PSI and watch just how little it flows.

    Pube,

When will your TDO4's be onthe Dyno ? Are they the Trust Upgrade Kit ????

I have located a set for a mate of mine and would love to know how they go.

thats awesome dude, i was thinking about doing this at some stage, only with little divorced wastegate pipes, though by the looks of those their probably wouldnt be enough room even for that..

I think they its the trust kit. The kit came with a custom dump pipe and had some bodgy intake piping. Im not sure if was a comlete kit but the adapters seem like the real deal. But disappointed with them to be honest as they are hardly bigger than the originals however they may perform better. I have since got some custom piping done on to a factory 1ggte water to air cooler. It will be on the road shortly and will make dyno day no matter what, hopefully wearing rego plates!

I love those dumps Toyman, checked them out in your rides thread, they look like a proper thing. Well made credit to the Real Road runner and your self. I am so proud of this community on toymods, not typical dumb kiddies talking trash but real people with real input... and results.
I mean this forum developed so many custom parts for the 1G, which would otherwise be unobtainable. I like having something that not mainstream even if dollar per horsepower is less then say a 1jz. Sorry to rant....

I will be looking in purchasing a set after i finish all the work on my car, and dyno it. If it gives better response this is exactly what i am after and this was the reason for getting the cams. The only problem i can't be stuffed dismantle the turbos for the fourth time in four moths, but i'll wait to see the results you get in the midrange of your power figure on the dyno. Roughly how much did the down pipe cost after the dumps? I know it will be different price for a z20 but rough estimate so i know what to budget for...
Also i let you all know the results of the camshaft and cam gears as soon as I put them in and get back to the dyno...I'll do a test dyno on the same 12 psi without any mods to the piggyback electronics...that way people can get idea if its worthwhile mod....

    Chris,

The pipe directly off the dump pipe flanges is 2" and as you can see real estate is at a minimum. The wastegate re-entry section is allot better than it looks and there just isn't enough clearance to keep the wastegate pipes seperate.

I have to be honest tho, since the wastegates are only open when your bleeding boost to reduce power anyway it doesn't make tthat much difference.
