    Default Panhard rod compatability

Im looking to purchase a whiteline adjustable panhard rod for my live axle RT142 corona. Whiteline do not list one but im hoping a panhard rod off another RWD toyota will fit. I have checked the Nolathane website to check the bushes are the same. The Corona RT142/ST141, AE86, AE70, RA23, TA22 share the same part number for the panhard rod bush. I have checked a RA23 panhard rod but its too long so that one can be crossed off. Can anyone do some measuring for me? I will measure up the Corona rod tomorrow.

How much are these whiteline things worth?

Surely it might be cheaper or just as much to get an adjuster from another arm like say a wide body camry rear arm and fit the adjuster from that to the Corona panhard rod.
As long as the internal size of the tube is the same then it could be done if you know of someone who could weld it all for you.

The Whiteline panhard has heaps of adjustability. My MA45 axle pickup was a lot 'closer' but the Whiteline one worked no worries. I did just cut and shut my old one for a while though- didn't have any dramas with it, just didn't know how safe it was. If you tell me how long you want it, I'll check the rod. Message me on 0403 838 205 if you like.

    cheers

it might seem a little expensive but T3 quoted me just yesterday US$155 for a custom made Panhard Rod for a TA22, i'm sure they will do any size if you provide them the nominal length. these are 6061 Aluminium bars with LH/RH threaded rose jointed ends for on car adjustment and come with all mounting hardware.

I am pulling my panhard rod off tonight so I will get a measurement for you. xt130 but probably isn't going to help too much as I doubt they would stock any for them

I meant get the adjuster out of one of the rear arms and use that in your setup.

For the price probably isn't worth stuffing around to save a few $$$$$.

The Whiteline panhard to suit the AE86 is adjustable from 770mm to 860mm. You could probably request a longer threaded section if it needs to be longer.

Hope this assists in some small fashion.

I measured up the corona panhard rod today and it measured 750mm from the centre of the holes. I also got a reply from whiteline and they said the panhard rod for an ae86 has a minimum length of approx 720mm and maximum length of approx 800mm. When you lower your car the panhard rod needs to be shorter than original?

any chance of a pic of the adjusters Roadrunner?
