Sigma or MX83 LCA's in ra28???

If you need help in looking for these LCA'S I should be able to get hold of some Sigma ones.MX62 ones wont be a prob as I'm about to get a wreck and I'm not sure if XT 130 ones fit but I have a spare set if you want to check those as well.

From my experience (mainly AE86, but I think identical if not very similar to RA28), your options are:

XT130 Corona or similar - Only 10mm a side track increase, otherwise identical.

Sigma - Big (50mm??) track and therefore camber increase. RA28 steering arms don't fit LCA balljoint perfectly, but are close.

MX62 Cressida - LCA balljoint way too big to fit RA28 steering arms. Cressida steering arm bolt spacing too big to fit RA28 struts.

Now the only thing bugging me is I've heard that TA22 LCAs are 10mm longer than AE86 LCAs but I've never been able to measure some. And that leaves me wondering how long RA28 arms are. There's good info in Takai's thread above, and if you can add RA28 arm length then that's be great.

Would the Corona arms give me any neg camber? Cause thats what im mainly after by doing this...

Yes, Corona arms will give you a camber increase (increasing track with the same struts etc.. will always increase camber) **IF** the Corona arms are longer than the RA28 ones.

Check your current arms and compare them to those listed in Takai's thread above to be sure.

Leave it with me and I will check to see that my mate has a set of LCAS.
He has wrecked more Sigmas than the local wreckers so I would say he would have some.
