My next project will have a door technique never before seen in the world.
Well, actually it has been seen, but will still be unusual AND usable. Just give me 5 years, by which time some one else will have done it, it will be copied by everyone, gone out of fashion and be gay, and will then become cool and unique again in time for me to finish my vehicle.![]()

My bodyworks guy repacked my drivers side hinges for $80 i think it was. Its good as gold now.Originally Posted by 3t-RA40

tell your mate not to park his euro trash next to your sports car
lambo doors are not cheap.... you need to do some serious work to fit them.
and aw11s are heavy enough without adding that sort of thing.
I DONT WORK FOR TOYOTA ANYMORE
please, no more PMs!

It looks like one of those Karmelion kits makde in the UK.
I think they are pretty average looking but they are fairly cohesive and do totally change the look of the AW.
I think the scissor doors are optional.
Blue cars don't usually do it for me but thats a nice shade and it looks like there was some really good prep work put in to that car.
I personally think there are better things you can be doing to an AW11 before changing the door hinges. Once you have it going fast and turning faster then worry about how it looks.
I personally like the stock look.

Bingo, I'm almost positive that's what it is. I've got respect for anyone that takes care of their car but yeah definitely not for me. The AW11 doesn't suit bodykits (because the factory look is awesomeOriginally Posted by Starfire
), the SW20 does.

You also have to do a fair bit of modification to get the Karmelion on (it doesnt just bolt up)
