the second igniter requires a ignition feed as well yes.
and is there an ignition feed that goes to the igniter or just to both coils.
yep both black wires are connected to negative sides of the coils.
i don't know if it matters which wire goes to which coil.
If you sit the ignitor up mine has the top black wire connecting to the coil that connects to the bottom dizzy plug and bottom ign black wire connects to the coil to the top dizzy plug

sorry, i mean second coil. my bad.
do both coils need an ignition signal on the positive terminal
and does the igniter (only one) require and ignition signal. or is it just the coils that need that. Jamie
ah thats far past my electrical knowledge, read the second post wiring diagram if you know how to read it![]()

dam it. lol, now that exceeds my knowledge. sigh. lol cheers mate.
If anyone else know the answer to my Q feel free to chime in. lol
anyone.....hahah....no seriously...please..Jamie
Ok with the ignitor I sold you.
-The wire with the clamped conection (ring) goes to the positive (ignition feed) (brown I belive)
-The two black wires (cut wires) one to each coil negative. (doesn't matter which one)
-The dizzy (reluctance) wires are self explanatory
- run +ve ignition feed to each coil (and to the ignitor see first point)
-ve from one of the coils needs to go back to the ECU you could potentialy use the yellow wire here from the ignitor however I just run it to the -ve coil.
Do this and all should be good.
Roger.
thanks roger, this is what i have just nutted out. although i wanted to start my car before i proclaimed success. cheers mate.
