although i think you should get a w55 at least, corona wagon's only have a w50 (a little weak). you still don't have to modify the tailshaft.

ST141 Corona = live axle = no IRS diff swaps. You'll definitely need to do a diff conversion but I don't think there are any direct swaps, at least nothing strong enough for a 1G.
As for the tailshaft, if the car originally came with a Borg Warner transmission then yes you'll need a new tailshaft. If it originally came with a W5x box then no you won't need a new tailshaft.

four speed manual box behind 2s (box?) but the 1g and box 5 speed standerd (w5x?) IRS would be good but personaly not a fan!
