ae86 axles to a ra60?

hey guys
im just wondering if you can fit up ae86 axles to a ra60 celica? if you is it a straight swap or what is needed to swap over?

i think the ra60 axles are longer. you will need to shave them.

also are you talking bout ae86 T series or S series. T will fit MAYBE, S wont.

you will have to compare the axles. the bearing might be larger and splines should be the same, but the length is what might kill you.

AE86 T series axles (with the small bearings, not the huge double row ones) will fit an RA60. As will a T18 axle. However they are 100mm shorter than the normal RA60 ones, so there may be less spline engaged and so less strong. It depends how much axle (if any) protrudes through the splines in the diff side gears.

RA40, Jap RT132 and probably a few others will suit perfectly including length.
