Well prepsol did nothing, but thinners took it off fairly well. I'll take to them later on with an electric sheep to see if I can't shine them up a little bit

I walked into my near-useless Toyota dealer and asked about replacement lights today - sure enough, he said 'we don't have stock of those any more.' I then asked about buying the Hilux T shirt on the wall. Didn't have stock of those either... I laughed and walked out.

i was gonna suggest acetone, rub on, rub off sorta thing, it makes the plastic very very brittle if left on.

takes of paint, grime, gum, EVERYTHING.

You might try finding one of the ricer sprinter owners on here and see if they want to "upgrade" their car to tinted lights.

My tail lights on my rx7 were tinted and looked gay... All i did was sanded them with wet and dry paper of around the 1000 mark (wet), until all the tinting was gone, then gave them a few coats of clear. I couldn't believe how well they turned out, they looked as though they were brand new, without exaggeration. I was VERY happy with the result.
