WiIbo, you did bloody great! and you ability to pick the short lane was most impressive

I think there was a sizable toyota population there tonight.

Floppy, the purple RA40 coupe had a FJ or SR - i overhead a conversation about it but it was kinda noisy (strange that).

My night was pretty ordinary racing wise but it was good to catch up and talk to a few strangers (including a VW owner with a MS5x wagon with ~80k miles on the clock).

I got 3 x 17.5's and the best of the night was 17.068 except i red-lighted = i got my arse handed to me by everyone i raced.

Reaction times were 0.651; 0.613; 0.506; 0.713 (the redlight was a mere 0.357) so at least i'm consistent with launches

Sounds like you all had a good night! Congrats to you PBers. wilbo is in pos. 43 and phil in 41. and yes you are now both quicker than me albeit 7-10mph slower

what was the 60 phil? that must have been hooking with that mph. so did you pick up any over last time with the line pressure adjustment?

how much boost were you running charles? and when is the 1g going in?

thought the old ta22 wouldve run a low 24 but luckily dads best time was a 17.39 yay for an old stock 2tg

great work by a few of the boys out there last night

scoobzd - i should have lined up with your dad so it looked like i was competitive.

chris: 10psi with spikes of 11psi , but AFRs are around the 10:1 mark when on heavy boost and way way way too rich for power. i'll put up some logs and screenshots in my ride thread tonight. 2nd to 3rd gear changes were really slow - a different gearbox would have been nice

any news about Dave's clutch (1jz hilux)?

yeaha its a great shame that so many people had shit go wrong with their cars last night, its even more of a cow patty that no other ta22's rocked up

Was certainly a good fun night, good to have a few close races with a GZE powered aw11.
my best last night was a 14.834 @ 149kmh and I'm a little surprised I couldn't even match my best from last year, despite being colder this year (I think) and having the EWP now + exhaust heat wrap + colder engine bay(more vents) + ~10 kilos less. Think I might send the EWP over my left shoulder

There was a good variety there, did anyone see davids supercharged camry run? I only saw it lining up once.

Any good spectator get to see what times all the big toyotas ran? Im curious about the celsior, aristo, camry, and all the supras.

more coincidence: the guy who owns both cars now works for Swift Engines who built my 18RT engine years ago. I told him to tell peter heriman that his engine was slowly wearing out the rest of my car...

Well I went out last night with high expectations and limped home wanting to cry.
The first run was a 14.429sec @ 99.03mph with a 2.503 60'. Tried a second run and got 14.658 @ 99.29 and a 2.553 60'. Unfortunately I couldn't smel the clutch cause of the flu and tried for a 3rd run where I didn't even get off the line The officials pushed me off the track and I finally got it into gear and limped away. I got home ok with little trouble and drove to work today. It wass slipping a little on hill starts but is generally still driveable. Its probably only got at most 1500kms left if I'm lucky.

So who's heading out again for the third game next wednesday? (4th of July it is)

would be a good chance for anyone who missed out the first time (keith, blake etc)
I'm considering heading out for another run and a bit more experimenting etc.
