Well thats kinda pointless, cos we need to have my car finished and back on the road that weekend.... It would be good if 51LII was done and we could take both, and I want to make a start on this clutch Friday night if possible.. so if we get our asses into gear we can get it finished AND go on teh cruise

well considering that we just did lukes on thursday night, it took us about 30 mins to bolt the gearbox back in so i think you should be right. just so everyone knows i have a rather bad oil leak so i wont be hitting the gas too hard as i have to keep on eye on my oil pressure.

    see everyone tomorrow

That was a pretty sweet cruise. Nothing exploded, nobody died.

Im hoping the pics that were taken at the spit can be posted on this thread, and that some more cars can turn up next time. Can never have too many Celicas. It would be nice to see some Corollas, Crowns etc too.

Springbrook turned out to be a pretty mad choice, especially going via Mudgeeraba. Single lane wooden bridges, and hairpin bends are always entertaining. The best part about Best of All lookout, is getting there and coming back. Sure the view is great, but it was bloody freezing as usual up there.

just a thought, but maybe you'd consider having the cruise a little further south next time? I'd join you if you'd have a non-classic Celica along for the ride. I know it's a QLD cruise and I'm only 1hr south of you guys, but I did a similar cruise with the OzCelica guys earlier this year and it was a killer on teh joose. so I'm not sure if there's any decent places to cruise to south of the Spit, but I thought I'd just put it out there.

glad all came back in one piece on this cruise.

We did lions road over into nsw the day after boxing day last year, you shoulda come on that one. Anyone is welcome on classic celica cruises Weve had other cars come along such as a 1G corolla, a celsior, even an r32 skyline. Mate at work might be coming on the next one in his rx3 rotary, anyone interested in cars is welcome to come as long as they bring a positive attitude.

Still dont have a date in mind for the next classic celica cruise, but I want to make it bigger than the last one, so hopefully we can get some more support this time.

Crappy pics off my phone, spewin I forgot my camera
