Please don't book out All Toyota Day on Sunday June 10 - am just checking today that it's still happening but our club has the day in our calendar.

We're having a "navigation run" after things wrap up at Toyota (usually by about midday or 1pm) and that's making its way up a hill somewhere in Brisbane.

    cheers,
    Charles.

this was the route (or most of it) that the OzCelica car club took on it's last QLD cruise, after meeting up at Yatala... Mt Tambourine, up to the Panorama and way down again to the Spit for pics and drive home after. if my engine were in better shape I'd probably do this run again, but she's seen better days and I don't feel like pushin the bitch home...

lilcrash - 240km (150mi) on a tank? that's worse than my old Scorpion with a 45mm Weber and Lynx crossflow manifold. I thought 300km highway driving was bad.

    mountains = inclined slopes
    = load on engine
= more air flow into the turbo
= more witchcraft inside the turbo
    = more fasterness

    more or less...

lol... if skiddz ever has a car he can drive, then we're gonna have to hit some hilly roads just to test his metal...

for those of you interested, the NSW/QLD border loop has had some new tarmac put down on the QLD side of the border along the highway, was down there the other week, such a pity we were in the Patrol instead of the celica. me think we need to get together a bunch of celica and go christen the road...

So has it got new tarmac on the twisty bits, or just the highway?

But anyway, I was going to do a solo run of Nebo-Glorious this coming Saturday (9th) so if you (or anyone else who has wheels, doesn't have to be a celica) wants to join me, pm me.

fixed dude. mettle means courage and fortitude. if you wanted to test his car out then you can test his metal...

btw. where's this new tarmac on the N/Q border?

i love the sound of a cruise but we're swapping dana head that weekend (the head on her engine btw)...

andrew.. if we were testing skiddz mettle, it would be very boring indeed his metal is his only chance to impress (jks)

thanks for the correction though, i though it was something like that.
