Thanks guys i might go with some new springs and shocks maybe a swaybar if i can find one cheap enough. Then i rekon ill look more into longer lower conrol arms for some neg camber aswell.

Could you guys give me some prices you paid for springs and shocks so i know what to expect and so i dont get ripped off?

Dose anyone know if dave at sleeka spares (i think thats how he spells it) dose has springs and shocks for sale? Cause i know he has strut braces and stuff...

    Thanks again guys...

Theres some swaybars, front springs and strut tops on e-gay atm... do a search. starting price is $150. I have quizzed him whether they are 23/28 gear or 22 gear... so am waiting a response. I think the swaybars and strut tops are K-mac stuff.

Whoa to bump up an old thread. Everyone is talking about King springs and KYB shocks as being a good budget setup. Just a question i have rang up KYB distrubution and they swear they have no listing for shocks the RA28 celica? So what are everyone using then with the KYB shocks? Different shocks from a different car? Parnt numbers would be VERY handy.

    Hi,

I'm in the process of getting some Munroe Shocks and lowered King Springs into my RA28 at Fulcrum Suspensions, Stafford.

I just got a call today saying they can't get hold of any Idler Arms for my car. Does anyone know where I might be able to find one?

    Much thanks,
    Ren.

Ren, there is a brand called 555 who still make idler arms, but they arent cheap. Check the listings for TA23. Any decent parts shop should be able to get them for you (ie, not repco, autobarn, ubercrap etc)

I've got to admit, I've spent the dollars on adjustable shocks and new lower springs and sway bars front and rear.

My conclusion was, that I had to adjust the shocks to the softest settings so I would not bounce out of the car.
the sway bars are a must.

Both myself and Timbosaurus are running this setup, but I didn't purchase mine from a supplier so part numbers will be hard to get from me, but Timbo purchased his new... Send him a PM and hopefully he'll have a receipt that he could get the PNs off for you...

Alternatively, mine were purchased new by Snyper, if Timbo cannot provide, give him atry...
