I question about Mags....

I found that 205's just fitted on the front of my TA22, only problem was hitting a decent bump at full lock with a bit of speed. In that case though, rubbing tyres is the least of your worries. The tyres would contact the inside of the wheel-arch on the front, not on the actual front guard panel or strut. Make sure you test fit the tyres at all lock angles ;-)
I swapped them for some softer compound 195/60/14's (Falken Azinis RT-205) which had much more grip than I was game to exploit and were probably cheaper than Eagers.
If anything, having 235 section tyres on a 930kg TA22 would be detrimental to the handling of the car.

Having Bogan Tyres with white writing full stop is detrimental to the handling of a car! However, it CAN look fat - just don't try to put TOO much tyre on the rim, or it looks just plain silly (e.g. to those that put 275s on an MA61 rim). If you think your steering is easy, then you're not running enough caster. Try those 235s with about 7 degrees caster and you might think differently...
