hi guys,
well ive buggered the turbos on me 1ggte gen 3.
was wondering if anyone has a rough idea on how much a new set of turbos would be? (blitz bags?)
not really keen on going single turbo.. but am open to suggestions if its not that expensive..

People sell the stock 1G turbos on here for about $150-250 depending on condition

Blitz Bag turbos are as rare as rocking horse p00 p00 and don't really appear to give substansially better results than stock.

Rebuilding the ones you have are an option at around $750 a piece. dependant on where you go and how far gone they are.

you can do a single turbo conversion for around 1000 dollars if you shop around and do most of the labour yourself, and can wield.

-manifold- about $400 for ext wastegate $350 for internal wastgate if you just make up a Y piece off the stock manifold (flanges, steampipe, materials)
-turbo-$500 you can get a lot of different turbos for this sort of money. Rb25 singles, to4's, ct26's, rhc6 and heaps more, all you gotta figure out is how much power yu want.
-dump pipe-, $75, depending on whether you have to get a custom flange for your turbo or if you can just buy one of the shelf.
new intercooler piping, about $50, and a heaps of stress to fit nicely.
silicon Hoses, oil lines/water lines, bolts, new airfilter/induction piping about $100

its much more expensive than just getting another set of standards(you should be able to track a set down for 400 bucks, just pm me if interested) but alot more fun.
