Ok so I'm a Soarer and Celica guy does that mean I don't have to pay on the day,

Or maybe I should just "pay out" on you Phyro?

    BTW,
I now have a sample strut brace on my 22 which I will be taking orders for on Sunday. They will be about the 120 mark, with rod ends in a painted finish. Another 20 on top if you want powder coat. Built to suit all classic celicas with either standard or twin cam options- But will have to check clearances for those with 1g's, 3tgte's and so forth...

...how sh1tted would you have to be......here i was doing the obligatory oil change on the '74 getting ready for the run tomorrow and look what i discover!!

...well what little remains i discover......for those that are wondering what the hell that is I can tell you that is the remains of one of my sponge air filter elements for the 18RG......and the other was just as bad.........so what to do....off to Revolution Racegear to find they they don't stock them....then to Autobarn in Doncaster to find that they don't either....at this stage I feel like one of the Leyland Bros travelling all over the countryside.......I then find out that it is too late on a Sat arvo for Autosport Performance in Bayswater to be open so I am left with a car that is drivable but will take to ingesting small animals and all manner of twigs and rocks and birds nests!! ........so it looks like I will be back to bringing the grandma spec '72 again........and here I was looking forward to cruising in 18RG style ........damn it all........the real issue I have is how long have the airfilters been like that and it's only because the '74 is such a bulletproof tank that I never check anything on it.......I can't even remember the last time i lifted the bonnet........all my own fault I suppose.......oh well i'll still be seeing you all tomorrow.....pending any additional crisis.

Silly Rabbit... what type of element is it? Is it a Ramflo filter? Round or the oval type? I have a round one and a pair of the oval type (that someone on this forum will claim to own when they read this) that you could borrow for the day.

That sux. I had the same thing happen to my engine (twice actually) it had no lasting effect. It still makes plenty of Eddie smoking power... Anyways its a pity you can't bring the beast, I was looking forward to checking it out. And smoking you

You did the same as me - i'm surprised I didn't see you at Autobahn, Repco, Bursons, Bunnings or the wreckers, i've been all over Melbourne today!
