...good work with it so far...looks like you will be blasting around in no time........i can only throw my 2 cents in on some of your issues but i'm sure you will have enough people provide answers for everything......first off the 2 black hoses that you have are not vital to anything.......the inlet manifold I have on my 18RG has 4 different outlets on it and they are all blocked.......some were for recirculation of breathers etc but they are now all blocked......one issue you may have is air leaks from these so when you do block them try and silastic a bolt or something sturdy into them so that the air-fuel mixtures don't get thrown out if air starts to get sucked through one of these holes.........secondly my RG runs what I think is a Toyota Landcruiser accelerator cable.....don't know the model but someone out there might...can't help with the thermo switch question.......got one of those on my RG but don't know the exact setting.......comes on when it hits 70 on the dial is all I know......as for the return line on the solexes......don't think they have one but I could be wrong......hey mine drink juice like there's no tomorrow so releasing excess fuel is not a problem........best of luck with it.

Tried to start it to see if it runs and i think the timing is way out coz its giving me greif. (wont start at all) A few times it backfired into the intake, fiddled with the timing some more and now its firing out the exhaust,
ahhh the joys of conversions ey..... Hopefully ill get it all hooked up tomorow and ill try some more.
