There should be enough info there to get you going...
Hi lads and lasses,
Rex has done much searcing for the previous hours, but most relate to straight engine conversions.
Rex is seeking assistance in connecting a 4AGE 100kw (round plug) into his existing 4AC engine bay loom. He is doing it this way simply because the engine control ECU and loom are standalone aftermarket.
The main problem is that the 4AC alternator has the connection for the external regulator in the middle.
As all of the connections must be extended to the inlet side, Rex assumes that working from the 6-pin regulator plug as the point at which to extend these wires
To try and understand the scenario, Rex did a little poking around with with His multimeter and found where the pins from the alternator meet in the regulator plug and fuse box etc, those are marked with corresponding coloured dots.
The alternator plug to connect in is in the upper left corner.
Any help you could offer would be much appreciated
Cheers,
Rex
