Default 'Check out the Aristo' BBQ - Sunday April 29 - Sandgate

    hi folks,

the Toyota Car Club Qld are having a BBQ lunch for no reason other than to gawk at Keith's new Aristo - and any other Toyota that turns up.

Everyone is welcome to come - our club events are never restricted to members only.

We'll also encourage folks that made the trip to Dubbo to bring along their cars to show them off. Hopefully some of the show ponies (e.g. Cliff & his RA28 with HKS-powered18RGT) and shy folks (e.g. Blake and his V6-powered 'lux) will turn up.

Location: Flinders Parade, Brighton (somewhere near the swimming pool)
    When: Sunday 29 April
    Time: 11:30am onwards
Bring: bbq food, portable chair and a hat or some kind of shade.

It's pretty easy to find and is only minutes away from the Sandgate Railway Station.

We'll bring the club BBQ if we can't find a handy electric one, there will also be an esky with some softdrinks for $1 ea.

    Google map link.

edit: date fixed - it's still the sunday, i just had the number wrong.

Spotted a couple of aristos at the drags yesterday
was this any of you guys?

looks like there's suddenly quite a few aristos getting around brisbane
There's also one that lives down the street from me, occasionally cruises past.

I'm living a sheltered life since I committed to buying my aristo (yet another car!) and sadly, I've only seen three in the flesh around the parts of brisbane I frequent :-(

I saw your burnouts with my own eyes, pretty decent, however I don't think I got any pics of them.

One of those aristos was behind me a little bit of the way there. It tried to race a porsche GT3 or something when it came past. was that one you?
