I agree with several replies, the engine does not really care how the extra fuel gets in, its the power gain you need to plan for. the GZE rods are beefier than 100kw or 20V. They wont fit a 86kw crank however. Our group A engines survive at around 200hp OK on stock rods, but they are extremely well prepared. make sure you decide on the rods you want before chasing pistons, as gudgeon pins are different sizes. There are now special race spec bearings available for 100kw & 20v engines and and they are well worth it for the few extra bucks involved. give me a holler when you want those other engine bits, as most are in stock at work.

depending on your budget nos can be as powerful as a good turbo setup for a fraction of the cost. talk to your local perfomance shops about a fogger system with a rpm,ign controller this way you will be able to stage the N20 for it to be more effective and therefore run higher outputs safely.Take your time when selecting a kit and make sure you look at all the brands because you may be able to use the kit you buy now later on another project. From experience with staged N20 kits your engine should live happy with anywhere upto 75hp and then fine tune to 100hp .

good luck and beware of the torque
