Just picked up a KE70 WAGON thisarvo as (another) paddock basher / parts car.

The rear cushion appears to be a full foam cushion which will be way more comfy than the crappy spring back seat in my AE71 sedan.

Front driveshaft CVs from 4wd IFS Hilux Have same bolt pattern as Cressida / Supra JZA70 rear driveshaft CVs with 6 studs.

    20R pistons into 18R-GEU

I'm Currently doing a rebuild on a RG I bought from another toymods member ... I couldnt
find the stock rgeu pistons and tried a set for a 20R block. so far everything is ok, engine
isnt running yet the crank, block and cams are being machined and should be up and
running next week. as far as performance goes I wont know until I've broken the motor in.

You will need to have the piston faces machined to suit the valves. Just get them the same as the RG items. Be careful of piston crown thickness when doing this. All the info for doing this should be on the Classic-Celica.com website (american site).

Depends, for a little more effort and $ you could have something so much more effective.

thanks Owen, already on to that I'm fairly confident this'll work ok.

I had thought about something more effective like going forged and polished etc, I changed
my mind for various reasons. money wasn't one of them, mostly because of the number of
times someones tried to knock it off or pinch something from it. on the other hand I've contradicted my self by converting from RC to RGEU.

Wow, great thread. Can anyone do a TIO# on interchangeability of starter motors i.e where they have used a starter motor from another car onto theirs with no modification etc.

I'm not sure if these have been mentioned as i have only read to page 5 so far.

Ae92 & ae82 bumpers are interchangable as long as you use the bar ions to match the that you are using. Note, series 1 & 2 ae92s use different ions.

Ae92 dash and console are a perfect fit for the ae82, the support bar fits and everything else comes off this. The only probelm is the slight curv different in the windscreen.

Those cup bits in ae92 SX door trims that are brittle and flakey 90% of the time can be found in early 90's spacia vans. The Spacia version seems more solid and doesn't go brittle.

TA22 Centre console fits the ke70 corollas, the gearstick and handbreak line up perfect.

Yeah the little cup thingy in the arm wrest. I found a pair in a spacia the same as the one pictured. If you are lucky they might even be found in toragos of the same shape!

Hey Chris I undid the bolt inside the dizzy top shaft but the shaft wont budge, it hardly turns against the counterweights so I guess it has some gunge inside so it wont budge, is it stuck or do I have to be a bit brutal and apply moderate force to pull it out? thanks??

7M-GE and 1JZ-GTE starter motors can be swapped over. The 7M starter is physically bigger but it bolts on and clears everything.

for those in north america where 4ag 20v parts are near impossible to get (other than ebay/online)

looking for a pilot bearing for RWD conversion --> 3A pilot bearing fits perfectly
also for oil filters 3A oil filter is a direct match.

i tried to read through all the posts to see if this was there but there certainly are alot, if it has been mentioned my bad otherwise use the info well.
