    Default Starlet idle?

    hey,
ive noticed on my wife's starlet that the idle plays around. at one set of traffic lights the car was idling at 500rpm, at the next it was idling at 900rpm. at every set of lights it idles different?............ well not every lights but you get my drift.

the car is completely stock except for "fuly sick" K&N pod (wife loves the sound, don't ask)

what could be the cause?......... a friend of mine told me its a common probo?

the fuel pressure regulators are shit on those starlets
could also be the throttle plate jamming or check the base idle screw and linkages the dashpot could be touching the linkages

the throttle body in them wear, there is a wax pellet in them for the idle control. you need to get a new throttle body.
