with your fully sik fully rigid cut springs.. is the car squatting enough that the panhard rod is pushing or pulling the diff housing to one side?

check your geometry, and get someone to film car from side to see how much it squats.

upon hard acceleration if the rear always swings to the left side, then yea u're looking at the engine's torque and RPM motion forcing (edit : twisting) the chassis to go to one side..

    have you

    1. checked the car's chassis and shell is square? nothing bent and what not?

    2. checked the car pulls to one side all the time and not both sides upon hard acceleration?

    3. the springs are cut equally, if not just change to normal uncut springs and see how it goes?

if all is well then in short you're just saying u've got too much torque and can't figure out how to propel the car straight on hard launches?

hey could it be a snapped trailing arm? my 71 was doing the same sort of thing hooking to the right under accel/decel. turned out that one of my top trailing arms was snapped.
    orrr
have u driven flat for a while on one tire??? cause if ya have the sidewall gets weak and sorta stretches and the tire baloons out making it a larger diametre even tho the numbers say equal.

    just a thought

    my 1g ke70 does this
got to the point that with the damaged rails the engine bay rail has pulled off of the rail under the car...hehe ooops!

id say you are more or less in the same boat...too much powahh i think it also has to do with the condition of the chassis rails. mine are very dented and pancaked in the front half of the floor.

im guessing you are just launching hard and the car is on the edge of traction and slipping a bit but still laying down massive torque and the chassis doesnt like it.

thats what i have put mine down too anyway

also keep in mind the 1G is designed for cars that are longer (front to rear) and also heavier (AE-86 vs soarer / supra etc etc) so yea..

there's another toymodder that's got a 1G powered spoontah.. wonder if he's got the same problem?

hmm.. funny.. it happened a lot in the KE15, even with a small motor and not much torque.

it also happened a lot less, or to the other side, when there were passengers on the LHS of the car

edit: think about the actual centre of gravity, and how that affects rotation of the car due to inertia.

edit2: but of course if you have enough torque then the torque reaction can unload one tyre, giving the other side more traction, and thus more propelling force... resulting in similar car rotation to the first cas of just weight difference

well 1 of the chassis rails on the tip is lifted upwards in the front about 1 inch looks like the car had a some what of a crash thier but my mechanic says it just bet the tip upwards and not the whole rail, well i think if i remember right the rear pulls to the right when i accelerate, and when im accelerating the car is very touchy(lack of a better word) my 700 whp 1967 camaro doesnt do that maybe its cause of the weight i dont know but it just doesnt feel right and i guess thats not specific enough to get a diagnosis, also i checked today my rear is about 1 cm lower on 1 side, and i got a chance to measure my rear end its half an inch thrown out to 1 side could this be it?
