ive pulled the farker apart everything is in order, and ive re sealed it good 'n proper (ie i can open the flap by sticking my mouth in one end and breathing in) so ill see if that makes a difference, if not.... meh ill go razorback (cos its cheap)

andrew i think you may be right, they ghey airbox is being ditched for somthing metal, im thinking aluminium checker platecos i can get that shit really cheap and it looks hot
oh a razorback is an ecu that is basically a piggyback ecu but it fits inside the factory box, its no adaptronic/wolf but it should make it easier

mmmk guys resurecting an old thread here but im having issues again, i have now fitted the razorback and therefore have eliminated the afm, so its no longer a problem but the engine is still starting then dieing HELP!!!!!
back to basics dude. Check all eraths wiring conections.
Then start replacing electrical parts (plugs - coils- dissy) etc until there is a change.
If anything changes its related to the last part swapped .. all i can think of right now.![]()

done all of that new dizzy and cap, new leads new plugs earths are now big arse cables
so yeah its nothing basic like that..... coil is firing even when the engine splutters and dies i mean i can hear it still firing... this is so fucking gay
tried another coil ? cause they have an integrated ignitor? tried another ecu just incase?
just shooting off here im lost as to what it could be.
Spluttering and dieing? and you say there is still spark so im looking towards fuel.
Injectors? Rail pressure? Demonically possesed 20v?
Maybe even get a volt meter on wires that need power to keep it running (iscv, coil,etc) and
see what happens power wise as it dies on certain parts. You might be in luck and something
might drop lots of voltage as it dies?

Apart from that, check for a clogged fuel filter maybe?? What pump setup are you running??

umm its got old ghey fuel in it...
i have a vl pump and a facet feeding it.... and fuel filters are new
tried a surge can straight to vl pump near or in engine bay to eliminate crap fuel and surging etc.
