Pirate's Mini Golf in Narrabeen.

DATE: Sunday 22nd April
LOCATION: 1500 Pittwater Rd, Narrabeen. "Pirate's Mini Golf"
MEETING TIME: 12:00 noon at the venue.
ACTIVITIES: Putt-putt, scenic viewing, driving range, foooood.
COSTS: $8 p/person for a round of 18 holes of minigolf.
CRUISE TO VENUE: Meet 10:00am, Opposite old P6 Carpark, Homebush Bay (cnr Australia Ave + Herb Elliot Dr. Depart at 10.45am SHARP.

This will be Toymod's 4th Visit to Pirate's Mini-Golf, and this time around we've planned it for warmer weather and brighter sunshine

It's a great social day to come out, talk rubbish with like-minded Toyota nuts, have a bit of competitive fun and check out how each other's latest projects have been going.

Pretty relaxed day, once everyone is there around midday we'll play a round of minigolf, talk a bit of dribble, and think about playing another round. Depending on if we play one or two rounds, we should finish by 3pm at the latest.

After the minigolf, we will more than likely head off to a local eatery for MORE endless banter with a bit of food involved.

Eventually we all start going our separate ways back towards home.

For those who live out west (many of us), there will be a mini cruise from Homebush to head down to the venue as a group. See above for details.

Social Event Report

After a belated departure due to the person who lived the closest to the meet point leaving home at 10.35, we finally got underway and cruised in a group of 7 cars along mona vale rd until we turned down pittwater rd to pirates. Not before the pulsar boys asked josh if he was there for the pulsar cruise 5 times.

We arrived after losing a magna following GPS and rod's wagon for a toilet stop. After a quick trip to the servo to use the ATM and for josh to achieve instant brainfreeze and early onset diabeties via a very syrupy slurpie, we got to teeing off for 36 holes.

It was a great day out and the weather held out almost to the minute we finished before it bucketed down with rain. The competition was fierce and the results were as follows:

Special mention goes to some questionable high scores, Chris scored a respectable 8 in a row, hole in ones

After the golf clubs had been hung up and jason and Mos turned up, we cruised back to warringah mall for some late lunch and headed off home our seperate ways.

the food after is Deffently an improvement

Every time we have been they have ran out of "lunch" type food (hotdogs) before 1/2 of us had eaten.

Guys I managed to roll my ankle rather nicely at my soccer game today, it's pretty swolen and hard to walk on at the moment, pending how it is in the morning we'll have to see. Soft I know, but I gotta walk around at work alot, so trying to be right for Monday is my priority.
