Confirmation Required - Installing MBC on 2JZGTE

Ive read a few articles on how to increase the boost on the 2J, but im still very worried i'll do it incorrectly. I want to install a turbotech MBC because its cheap and i know they work. Ive had one in a few previous cars and they work unbelievably well for a <$30 controller and considering i only want to raise boost to around 1bar and I have virtually no money left on the Aristo project, its my only option.

Considerations:
I have the ETTC mod, will that affect how i should set-up the controller?
Ideally I would like to maintain the sequential system and increase boost, but i would also like to be able to switch to TT and still have a limited boost increase (14psi).

As per the below image, should i install the MBC in the place of the T peice and do away with hose 3, or do i connect a turbotech barb to hose 3 and leave the other barb venting? Will that even work?

The 2JZ has only one wastegate, so any changes made to the wastegate actuator will have an effect in sequential mode or TT mode or whatever.

In my case I disconnected the VSV and blocked off the hoses, then plumbed in a bleed valve as per any normal turbo setup, ie compressor housing -> bleed valve -> wastegate actuator.
