MS112 Crown Electrical Problem

Just had my 1st electrical problem with my ms112 (crown). Drove it ok to today. When I went to start this evfening the car was turning over but no ignition. to cut a long story short. only started when I swappped the EFI relay (silver round under in the fuse box in engine bay) with the wiper relay. Once the car was back in the garage I noticed that all relays wiper efi head etc where warm/hot to touch.
So EFI relay now wiper relay and vice versa..
Wipers ok car starts.
Qs are
1. Does the hot relay indicate underlying elkectrical problem..
2. Should I be swapping relays like this
3. where does one get new relays and how would u expect to pay- Should I be changing the lot ?
4. are these interchangeable with other toyota relays of car of similiar vintage

2. you should only swap relays of the exact same type
3. see your local auto elec, no need to change the lot would cost a pretty penny
4. some relays are interchangable, check the part numbers first
