the other alternative is if someone can confirm which wire from the ignitor/coil is attached to the main ignition relay i have what i think is th right one but id like confirmation
thanks

i miss referenced in my first post i have the ones from turbocorolla not club4ag. either way i still cant figure it out from those diagrams
ah? multimeter will tell you which wire.
or even rip the covering off the loom.
or look at the wires and see what colour is on both items?

how can a mulitmeter tell me which wire goes to the relay from the ignitor and coil? there is a wire i suspect to be the one, but am not sure (white/red IIRC) i was looking for confirmation/ a diagram to do so,
i have completely stripped the loom of all unnesicary bits, so its basically ecu, afm, ignitor, coil, dizzy etc, what i failed to do was note which relay was what
switch the multimeter into resistance mode.
reads 1. touch the probes together you get 0.00 (some may buzz even)
apply a prob to each end of the wire you think. 0 reading means the signal went from one end to the other.
even pick one pin on the relay end... then touch each pin at the ignitor end.
repeat for all relay pins and you should find.

the diagram on turbocorolla also has the plug pics which are all labelled.
That's the diagram I used for my AE101 20V swap.
For the rest of the wires use the multimeter method and label each wire as you go. It's not very hard once you get into it.

...... butt scratcher?!
just find the black with orange trace which is common to the injectors coil and ignitor
wire this straight to yr ign terminal right near the ignition switch
its doesnt go to the efi relay
i think they dont run a relay on this wire just incase you get feedback and the relay stays on
so therefore if this wire goes to ign on ign switch it will still have good thick wire and good power and when u turn car off it stops the engine
if you need any more info ill have to chagre you for it heheheheheheheheheeh
red 赤
black 黒
blue 青
white 白
yellow 黄色
green 緑
orange オランジ
what other colours you need?

its not that i dont know kanji its i cant read the diagram(8 years of japanese under my belt and i did remember somthing
)
so its ok if i just plumb the inj power and coil power directly to the ign? mad as, makes it easy now![]()
thanks for your help guys now i just have to cut up my pretty loom![]()
