7MGE cam gears interchangeable???

Does anyone know if CAM gears off another model toyota engine are interchangeable with a toyota 7mge engine??

You can buy adjustable ones for a 4ag and 2jz engine and they look as though they might fit. Any body tried this??

AFAIK they all look the same, but the number of teeth on them are different, as is the offset.

for example, there was a bit of a ruckus on here about (i think!) 4AGE and 1GGTE (or 3SGTE?) cam gears being identical, but one motor used them one way around, and they were flipped around on the other motor, using the two different sides gave them a different offset.

so maybe get someone with 2JZ and 4A, 3S, 1J etc. cam gears to count the number of teeth, and the offset of the gear to see if something is compatible.

As far as I'm aware the 2jz ones fit when a group buy was done on the US CS.com forums, titan 2jz cam gears were availble for 7m guys.

That being said you can buy AEM cam gears for 7m anyway. I'll be getting some once my billets arrive.
